How the Clinic is checked
No one consults on TYGR until we have checked their licence, their identity and how they practise.
Licence check
Doctors are checked against the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) register. Other professionals are checked against their Nigerian regulatory body. [TODO: list the body for each profession.]

We confirm each specialist is who they say they are, with government ID.
Interview

Can I consult without showing my face?
Yes. Choose an audio or chat consult. Your specialist still gets what they need to help you.
Can a TYGR specialist prescribe medicine?
Where it is safe and allowed, a doctor may recommend treatment, or refer you for tests or an in-person visit. [TODO: confirm the prescribing policy with the medical lead.]
What if I need a physical exam or a test?
Your specialist will tell you, and explain what to do next, such as seeing a doctor in person or getting a lab test. Some things need an in-person check, and we'll always say so.
Who sees my consult notes?
Only you and the specialists caring for you. Notes are encrypted, and we never share them with employers, family or advertisers. Read our privacy pledge.
